Oren Hagai, President and Chief Technical Officer

Oren founded Interlligent in 2000, taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer and developing the business to its current position. In 2016, his role changed to that of Chief Technical Officer, allowing him to devote more time to developing in-depth training materials and driving the company forwards. As a recognised expert in the field of RF and microwave engineering, Oren keeps up to date with the latest technologies by actively participating in design reviews, as well as attending and speaking at conferences and technical seminars. Despite this busy schedule, he still finds time to teach advanced microwave courses at Interlligent’s training division.

Prior to establishing Interlligent, Oren studied electrical engineering at Tel Aviv University and served as a microwave expert in the Israel Defence Forces. He has held an amateur radio licence since his teenage years, an interest he maintains to this day.

He began his career at Philips Research Laboratories before becoming Chief Designer with GEC-Marconi Caswell.
